With over 700 speakers, 700+ cameras, and 40+ control zones, Fearing’s designed and installed the Midwest’s most ambitious hospitality tech project to date.
As part of a multi-phase expansion, Kalahari needed a technology partner to deliver a seamless AV and security solution for its newest 160,000+ sq ft convention center—without disrupting ongoing operations or falling behind the fixed opening date. Fearing’s was selected thanks to a 20+ year trusted partnership with the brand, stretching back to the original resort opening.
Our team engineered, integrated, and installed comprehensive systems across the resort’s convention space, water park, lobby, and common areas.
As with most new construction projects, a significant portion of low voltage work needed to be completed as other trades were wrapping up, due to the need for a clean space. This left a very tight window to complete the installation.
In addition, the owner had already booked events in the space so delays were not an option. And Fearing’s rose to the challenge. The Fearing’s team worked long hours, worked quickly—and cleanly— and without disrupting final finishes or delaying the resort’s grand opening event.
Our expert team worked in lockstep with Friede Construction, staying flexible and responsive as the building neared occupancy. Strategic pre-planning and onsite project management allowed us to execute flawlessly within the tightest window.
I’m confident Fearing’s will provide your project the same level of expertise and service my businesses have enjoyed over the years.
