State-of-the-Art AV Solutions
The AV system deployed by Fearing’s included a lineup of industry-leading products. QSC and Q-Sys audio equipment comprised the sound system, delivering crystal-clear audio quality that resonates throughout hotel spaces. Complementing this backdrop of incredible sound is Crestron control and NVX distribution equipment, providing a seamless interface that allows for intuitive management of the entire technology-driven ecosystem.
Cisco switches formed the backbone of the network infrastructure, ensuring robust and reliable connectivity. In conferencing spaces, Panasonic projectors and Draper screens brought visuals to life with vivid clarity and precision. Shure microphones, known for exceptional audio capture, were installed to ensure that every spoken word is heard with absolute clarity.
Beyond audio and visual excellence, our team incorporated a Crestron control system. With it, other owner-provided smart devices, such as flat panel displays, motorized shades, and Lutron lighting solutions, allow for an elevated presentation experience at a simple button press.
Overcoming Challenges
This particular hospitality project presented a unique set of challenges that put Fearing’s adaptability and problem-solving skills to the test. One of the most significant hurdles was the impact of supply chain issues on the project’s construction timeline.
Delays in the delivery of windows for much of the building created a domino effect, pushing back critical milestones like drywall installation. This, in turn, had a cascading impact on the schedules of all trades involved. With the completion date unchanged, it meant that every trade had to work in tandem, navigating around each other’s tasks.
As the low voltage contractor, the team at Fearing’s was often at the bottom of the priority list and had to adapt to the demands of other trades. This required meticulous coordination and flexibility, as work in different areas had to be carefully orchestrated to avoid conflicts.
Despite these challenges, our team rose to the occasion. Our ability to adapt, innovate, and collaborate with other trades ensured the successful completion of the project, even in the most challenging circumstances. The results speak for themselves!
